Odd cloud formation witnessed over the North sea today, just after they’d played “Calling Occupants of Interstellar Craft” by the Carpenters on Radio Sunderland. Was it a message from Outer Space? We are your friends by the way…. Could you lend us ten bob for a bottle of Merlot from the co-op?

Well, Phil, it was at Sunderland Air Show, though it wasn't the red arrows. Alan and Laura are nearer the mark - that Kylie, the woman is obviously obsessed. Wing walking in a furry bikini is way over the top, way, way over the top.
yep watched the planes do this from sunderland air show quite good time I got my camera out I didnt get a good picture like this one but yep it was 2 planes making this at Seaburn over the sea lol nice drawing tho for defs
I enjoyed the Vulcan, Paul - what a beast - and they opened the bomb doors. Monster!
I've always loved the vulcan, but it's scary what a chinook can do, they're not built for it!
The vulcan's afterburners make the world shudder...!
There weren't any chinooks at Sunderland, although the Navy had some dancing helicopters which appeared from somewhere out to sea..
