The starting day for the unstructured walk towards Malham has been postponed for a day due to a very duff weather forecast involving little triangles with !exclamation marks and 78mm of rain....

A wise move. I was told Seathwaite had 66mm at the weekend so 78mm would be a little awful.
I have to admit, I've no idea what 78mm of water looks like. Could I float? Would I drown? Is it enough for a cup of tea?

Looking at todays weather warning it might not be any good until weekend.
Latest forecast for NE England is for reducing incidence of showers from tomorrow (Thursday) morning - and getting a little warmer. Forecast up to Saturday is reasonable. Three days is a long time in weather forecasting, though.
