This is just a test post to make sure that Livewriter is working like wot it orta. (spelling’s not improved…)
It all go broken whilst I was on the TGO challenge y’see…
Not much else to say, really. I’m off to Wales shortly. This will be a heavy backpacking trip involving beer, bacon, eggs sausages (by Dawn) and a frying pan (Dawn again) and other proper food and luxury items such as a proper hat and a novel by Charles (where’s me porridge, Gradgrind?) Dickens.
Its going to rain.
There will be floods and wet socks.
Usual stuff, really…

Good to see you have the beast fixed. Plenty of tea bags too,am thinking of snorkel, flippers and a wet suit.
After our soaking, its grim up north ya na.
I was hoping that Mid Wales would bring a bit of a respite. Could you please bit a bit more optimistic and keep everything crossed.
I like bacon and sausage barms btw.
Dawn/Alan - Looks like the deep low will arrive 24 hours earlier than first expected. Is this optimistic enough for a reasonable Sunday or Monday?
Bring barms, Alan. I don't think they do barms in Co Durham or That London. We do have stotties, though... (only pronouce the first "t", the other two are glottal stops)
Have a bit of cheese as well. There is one thing to remember, it is only summer rain!!!!?
You not turned that lovely dirty piggy into lovely tasty bangers I hope!!!
Dawn - I might need a bigger ruckssack. I'm thinking of extra guy ropes and pegs, too, for the windyness...
Al - As if we'd use "Fluffy" in that way. Fluffy is a nice pig (...dribble.....nuff said, shtum...)
Have a 20 foot plus of paracord and spare pegs. Have now swapped over for my larger, winter rucksack.
I'm adding some spuds to the mix - pre-boiled ones can be fried with bacon and eggs.. (mmmm) and a couple of portions to go with tinned steak and veggies.. (slurp..)
and extra pegs and guys for the wind.
