There has been a small hiatus in blog postings. This is because I've spent a few days drinking cough medicine, spreading vick all over myself and sleeping. It got so bad, I cancelled my trip to Galloway for this weekend. Probably just as well as I'd have infected everbody and I'm not sure if I can walk up a big hill just yet.
Here's a little relevant instructional video
And...ah....ah.....another....
I may go and say hello to some Exmoor ponies later on. This little gang are performing a winter grazing task on some lank grasses in a meadow just up the hill from here.

I have just managed to shake off a similar malaise to the one you have been suffering with...seemed to take about three weeks to clear up totally....
I could have done with these 'instructions'before I caught it..!!

You have my sympathy (although don't tell my chidren, they never get any...). I've had my own sniffle going on recently, not as bad as your 'Man Flu', obviously, but a bit of a hinderance. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Thought things were quiet Mike.
But you are not alone! Both Sheila and I have had it since we got back from Wales on Sunday. Sheila's starting to improve but with mine being the man variety it's going to take a bit longer.
Hope you are better soon.

Ooer - a bit of a flood of comments... seems that many people are sufferring at the moment. Three weeks to clear up, though, Trevor... Hmmmm
Man-consumption, Louise, I'll have you know. This could be serious...
Alan - Vick's rub and something Scottish at around 40%. Do not mix the two.
No snow here, windy... its been chucking it down al day, though. I think there's some white stuff up the Dale - may have a look tomorrow (by car)
Maria - see above. Miss out the scotch, as it's probably illegal, although my old granny...
More enchanted soup, Rachel. V. Nice and I enjoyed the flight.
Him Indoors has been suffering too from a running nose etc. (It seems to come with persistant groaning too!)
A bit of fresh air is what you need Mike!
Hope it clears up soon I'm beginning to miss your walks. Bruno must be too.
