Sleeping bag arrived

Eventually, early this afternoon, the courier arrived with my new sleeping bag.

For those interested - its here

Its blue, but the colour on the card says its "grease"...(!)

As I'm off on my pre-TGO Challenge 4 day wander starting saturday (during which there'll be another intermission, incidentally) - I'm well chuffed.

I'm also well chuffed with backpackinglight's customer service, specially as they sent me some chocolate eggs

I might go off and have a nap just now...

Gratuitous pic of Lambley viaduct above!

Have you got your train ticket from Montrose yet?

Hi Mike,
An excellent choice that Golite Bag. I've been using one for nearly a year now and it's so very comfortable. Cheers, Fenlander

Yes, Becky, I have the tickets - or at least I have a code which lets nme get the ticket out of the machine at Montrose station. In the meantime, they have my money - although not very much of it....

I used the bag over the last few days, Fenlander. One night it was a bit warm! Comfy, as you say, and toasty too... I haven't spilled anything on it yet - but I will....

I just got a Rab Quantum Sleeping from www.venturesport.co.uk after considering the Golite one. I hope I made the right choice

I expect you probably have made the right choice - plenty of recommendations for RAB bags - but who knows? The only way I could really tell is if somebody were to be kind enough to supply me with loads of sleeping bags. In the end we just have to decide. If you're happy with it, then thats enough....
